Efficacy of Rhizobacteria to Promote the Growth and Increase the Yield of Several Rice Cultivars

Rice is still play important role as staple food for most of Indonesian population; consequently Indonesia greatly relying on rice production to maintain security. This plant commonly cultivated with intensive use synthetic agrochemicals such chemical fertilizers and pesticides. However, the improper may result in adverse effects environment including biotic abiotic components. study was conducted evaluate efficacy rhizobacteria formulation promote growth increase yield four cultivars that grown i.e . Ciherang, Cigeulis, Inpari 33, IR64. Experiment done a green house three concentrations i.e. 0%, 1%, 2% (v/v). Several parameters were observed this seedling height, leaf chlorophyll content seedling, height at 50 days after transplanting (DAT), DAT, number tillers per productive plant, plant. Results showed significant interactions between cultivar concentration all observed. IR64 consistently superior among tested. Except IR64, results compared 1% 0% proved containing Stenotrophomonas maltophilia Sg3 Enterobacter cloacae Al7Kla effectively promoted Indonesia, suggested promising bio-agent be used Indonesia.
